An Encouraging Sign?

Wow. “Weekly applications dropped 22,000 to a seasonally adjusted 405,000, the lowest level in almost three months”. If that sentence isn’t proof that the media is in the tank for Obama, I don’t know what is. It’s clear that we are going in the wrong direction. What is even clearer is that it is because the country is being so poorly managed. The uncertainty of business on tax policy an outright punishment of businesses is leaving everyone hesitant to invest. Government is currently acting like a teenager with a credit card who is racking up debt that they don’t have to pay for. As revenue has dropped precipitously, government hasn’t made the requisite cuts to services. The public sector unions have been largely spared from the rest of the countries pain and in turn continue to pump cash into the democratic coffers for reelection, especially here in California. Public sector unions very well could be the downfall of this country unless massive changes are made to their benefits. Twenty Five and out with 100% salary is unconscionable.

Albertson's will lose my business

Unfortunately, Albertson’s has decided to remove the self-checkout lanes. For me, this is a big mistake. If I was shopping for the “experience” I would be going to Von’s as they have much nicer stores. I want to get in and get out. Spending time getting to know my cashier doesn’t rank high on my list of priorities. In fact, when I shop at Albertson’s one of the main reasons is because I can get in and get out quickly because of the self-checkout (provided that there isn’t someone there who can’t figure it out).

As Expected, Unemployment Rises to 9.2%

As expected by all thinking people, the unemployment rate continues to rise. In the face of this, democrats are still fighting to raise taxes and raise the debt ceiling. Unfortunately, we have a president who used the stimulous as a political payoff to his buddies with the belief that the economy would fix itself, because it always does. Now we need a real stimulus but the public has lost their appetite for goverment spending. Meanwhile, goverment employees and goverment employee unions who have largely gone untouched during the great recession are starting to feel the pinch as stimulus funds run out. Finally, 4 years later the goverment excess is coming to a head in states like Wisconsin. Unfortunately, in California the continue to pass sham budgets and pension increases to public employee Unions. Ultimately, believing as Obama did that we’ll eventually come out of this and the democrats political cronies will remain not only unscathed, but enhanced. You can only kick the can down the road so far, eventually these bills are going to come due. In California’s case, Jerry Brown will be long gone at that point so why should it matter to him. He doesn’t want to upset funding to his party by making the hard decisions to keep our economy afloat.

Russell Huekler You're and Idiot

Russel Huekler is proof of the downfall of American Society. There are only two facts that mattered in this case 1. She didn’t call the cops for 31 days. and 2. They found here with duct tape on her body. Nothing else matters. Your conclusion that it was an accident is proof that you are stupid. After hearing you talk I can envision a group of enlightened leftist jurors sitting around the table talking about all of the nuance in the trial.

The standard for guilt isn’t BEYOND ANY DOUBT. It is BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT. Suck on that nuance Russell. Casey Anthony got away with murder. Eventually, she is going to admit it and you jurors are going to have to live with that fact for the rest of your lives (after your book tours and movie deals of course).

Hey, Policy Doesn't Matter

“But Biden drew applause when he briefly acknowledged there’s widespread unhappiness among teachers for the Obama administration’s education policies.” Once again provint that teachers, as a union, don’t care about the kids or the education just the benefits they are able to reap fromt he tax payers.

Is this supposed to be journalism

In reading this article on Chris Cristie’s line item veto cuts on the New Jersey budget, I got to the end was left wondering is there such a thing as real journalism anymore?

The Republican Bobbleheads will side with the governor again, and the vetoes will stand. But individual legislators will have to go on record supporting each of these ugly cuts.

Yes, this will be all theater. And yes, it will be all partisan. Sadly, it seems Trenton is reverting to form.

Dr. Wayne Dyer

I’ve recently started listening to inner wisdom by Wayne Dyer. It is very informative and reassuring that if you do the right things, good things will come to you. I’ve reviewed quite a few self-help products, but I am definetly impressed by this so far.
