It’s good to see that a tiger doesn’t change their stripes. Even in the wake of the Solyndra scandal, the Obama administration is still issuing huge no bid contracts to his political allies. I’m sure Chris Rock has it right when he said “We’re going to see some gangster shit”, if Obama is elected to a second term. 

This is one of the most corrupt administrations in history. From their systematic dismantling of political opponents through character assasinations to giving huge political payouts to both their donors and the unions via the cours (such as the boeing case), the Obama administration has proven to be the most underhanded in history.

I think it is sad that in the wake of this scandal, the University has seen fit to go forward with their game this weekend. Clearly, they have approached this haphazardly and with little regard for all of the people who have been damaged by this scandal. I have mixed feelings, as the kids on the team aren’t responsible and shouldn’t take the brunt of the scandal. However, Penn State should not be able to profit from the games with their TV deal and ticket sales. It seems clear to me that the underlying cause of all of this was to keep the machine rolling and making money. That shouldn’t be allowed. All thinking people should avoid Penn State football going forward so that the University can not continue to profit from a program that was integral to these crimes and the continued sexual abuse of these children.

If Paterno and Penn State knew, but didn’t act, instead facilitating Sandusky’s untroubled retirement - are Paterno and Penn State responsible for untoward acts since committed by Sandusky?

Don’t kid yourself. The athletic director worked for Paterno. He certainly didn’t make a move to oust his defensive coordinator without his approval. Therefore, Paterno knew. The crime here is that they allowed him to go off in to retirement still running his foundation and couching high school football maintaining his access to young boys unfettered. All of the men involved are cowards.
